What experience do you have to help me with my financial planning?
I have been assisting clients for more than 30 years with financial planning. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP). My experience has helped me to make a positive difference in my clients’ financial life.
What type of clients do you work with?
My specialty is working with people who are over the age of 50 who want to have a second set of eyes guide them toward their retirement financial goals.
How are you compensated?
I am a fee-only fiduciary financial planner who is compensated only by my clients. I receive compensation in two ways, either by a fee of $250 per hour or by a managed investment fee of 1% per year. My incentive is to grow my clients’ accounts.
What does fee-only mean?
As a fee-only advisor I am compensated only by the client without earning commission of any kind for product sales or referrals. What is the difference between a fiduciary advisor and a nonfiduciary advisor?
There is a clear difference between fiduciary and nonfiduciary advisors. As a fiduciary advisor I am legally required to put the interests of my clients first, where a nonfiduciary advisor is not.
Where do you meet your clients for meetings?
I conduct face-to-face meetings that are generally held at easily accessible conference rooms in the area. I serve clients in the Kansas City and Overland Park area. I will do Zoom calls, but prefer in-person meetings.
